Changelog
Donor emails now display correctly across every email app. Donors are notified automatically across a wide range of giving events. Administrators can review terminal purchases and place new terminal orders more easily.
Donation terminal allowances and priority handling now apply correctly. The donation terminal PIN is now in account settings, which is easier to manage. Notification emails now use the correct billing address from your plan.
Masjidbox One is now fully available in Arabic. Set your language once and the whole app, prayer times, mosque content and settings, switches to the script your community reads every day.
This makes the app easier to use for Arabic-speaking members, with the full app translated.
Signing in is now more reliable, even when you open the app on several devices at once. The occasional sign-in failures are fixed.
We have made the engine behind your prayer times more stable, so the times shown on your website, app and screens stay accurate from one season to the next without manual fixes.
This is behind-the-scenes work. Over the year it means fewer surprises and fewer corrections for your team.
Prayer times now adjust correctly when the clocks change for daylight saving, with no gaps or duplicated days during the switch. Masjidbox now detects when a timetable is getting out of date and refreshes it before an old time is shown. Your prayer time pages now flag when a timetable may be out of date, so your team can act on it.
Ordering a card reader for your mosque is now simpler. The redesigned ordering flow supports multiple currencies and settles across countries, with taxes handled correctly for your region. You pick your device, confirm your details, and receive an itemised invoice in a few clicks.
Donation terminals can now be ordered with multi-currency pricing and correct local settlement. Taxes are now included in the displayed price for tax-inclusive countries, so the price you see is the price you pay. Order confirmations now include a clear, itemised invoice. Terminals are automatically unavailable in countries where the device isn't supported. We added ready-made campaign quick-start templates so you can launch sooner. We added a reminder to finish payment-provider onboarding when needed. Donors can now cancel their own recurring donations from the portal. Campaign images are now optional, so pages still display correctly without one.
Corrected terminal order pricing and made sure error messages appear in your language. Fixed invoices so the correct tax and totals always appear. Updated the latest card-reader pricing and showed country-appropriate device images. Removed the company name from required fields so individuals can order too. Improved how taxes are included on terminal orders for tax-inclusive countries. Better handling when cancelling or editing recurring donations. Future-campaign scheduling now works correctly with one-time-only campaigns. Campaign logos now display reliably on donation and subscription pages. Fixed a reload loop that could appear on expired campaigns. Donors now see the correct options on eligible campaigns.
Give your supporters the option to add a little extra so the full amount of their gift reaches your mosque. When this is enabled on a campaign, donors can choose to cover the small card-processing fee at checkout. This often increases what you actually receive.
Campaigns can now offer donors the choice to cover processing fees. The cover-fees option works across your mosque website and donation pages. Fees are calculated per payment method and for recurring gifts.
Corrected processing-fee calculations across several countries.
Say hello to the Masjidbox Stick, the simplest and most affordable way to put your mosque's screen online. Plug it into any TV with an HDMI port, connect it to WiFi, and it shows your prayer times, announcements and content, with nothing for your team to install.
At 49 euros, the Stick is the budget-friendly companion to the 199 euro Masjidbox Player. It works in portrait or landscape, runs online and offline, and starts automatically when the screen powers on. The Player still supports every Screens feature, so it stays the better choice for advanced displays; the Stick is the easy, low-cost way to get a screen up and running.
Accurate prayer times matter, so we now show a warning banner whenever the times on a page may no longer be current. Visitors know to double-check instead of trusting times that are out of date.
Websites no longer get stuck in a loop when both "closed" and "maintenance" modes are switched on at the same time. Embedded YouTube videos now play reliably and load with tighter privacy settings. We reordered the players page so the casting and device sections sit in a more natural place.
Getting a new screen up and running in your mosque is now simpler. The dashboard now puts ordering the Masjidbox Player and the Masjidbox Stick on a single order page. You no longer have to move through separate flows to work out which device fits your display.
Pick the hardware that matches your screen, check availability, and place your order. Out-of-stock products are marked so you know what is ready to ship today.
The Masjidbox Stick is now shown by its real name and branding, so you recognise the device you are ordering. Products that are temporarily unavailable are marked and cannot be selected, so you do not order something we cannot ship. Taraweeh times can now follow either the call to prayer or the iqamah, to match how your mosque runs the night prayer. The Imsak block has a "show tomorrow" option so worshippers can plan ahead during Ramadan. It is off by default. Screen-builder lists now show thumbnail previews and more detail, so you can see what each item looks like before adding it. The registration screen now respects the language you have chosen, so the welcome is fully translated. The app download settings start from sensible logo and splash-screen defaults, so your branded app looks right from the start.
The Masjidbox Stick is now shown by its real name and branding instead of the manufacturer's name. Changes to a video slide are now saved even when the display time is filled in automatically. Alert playlists are easier to set up, with clearer default settings. Prayer-time displays now reflect your organisation's settings accurately, with a more consistent setup for special times. Imsak handling in your branded apps is fixed so times show correctly. Wi-Fi setup now handles open networks correctly, with clearer guidance and full translations for the password step.
